V I S I O N
Back in 2003, God gave a vision to a young woman in the North East of Scotland where hundreds of Christian women were worshipping together in Aberdeen. Ten years later, in October 2013, this dream became a reality at Glorious in the AECC. Glorious 2025 will be our fifth conference and we can’t wait to meet together, worship the Almighty God and see Him at work in our lives!
Our heart is to give women time and space to KNOW who they are in God, to GROW in their relationship with Him and to GO and live this out in their community.
We are excited to be gathering together again for Glorious 2025. Come and join with women from across Scotland for a day of dynamic teaching and worship on 8th March 2025 in the Music Hall, Aberdeen.
Our speaker this year will be Ali Herbert and Mairi Smith. We will also hear from local women about the difference Jesus is making in their life. Come ready to KNOW God more, GROW in your relationship with Him and GO and live for Him in your community.
speakers
ALI HERBERT
Ali is Associate Pastor at Gas Street Church in Birmingham, where she oversees locations and church planting. She is an ordained member of the clergy, with an MA in literature and performance and a further degree in theology. Ali is married to Nick who is a songwriter and they have two grown-up kids called Gracie & Josiah.
MAIRI SMITH
As Teaching Leader of one of the Aberdeen classes of Bible Study Fellowship, Mairi teaches, trains and leads women in a weekly, systematic study of the Bible. A qualified solicitor, Mairi did not return to her legal career after the birth of her first son and instead a door opened for her to pursue her passion for studying and teaching the Bible. Mairi worships at Deeside Christian Fellowship, where she is actively involved in the life and ministry of the church, including as a member of a launch team planting a church in Torry. Married to Peter, she is mum to three noisy boys, aged from 10 to 14, and two noisy girl schnauzers.
worship
At Glorious we love to enjoy time worshipping our Heavenly Father. Joining together as women from across the generations and denominations to lift up His name in praise has been such a special thing. Many of you have reported to us that the worship times have been a highlight for you. We look forward to precious times of worship at our 2025 conference. Be sure to keep your eye on our social media where we will release a playlist of songs we will be singing so you can become familiar with them.
